What we collect

When you generate a story, we collect the name you optionally enter, your birth date, time, and location, and your selected language. We don't require an account, email address, or phone number to use the app.

Why we collect it

Your birth date, time, and location are used to compute an astrological chart (sun, moon, and rising signs), which is used as creative input for an AI-generated story and portrait. See the entertainment disclaimer below — nothing here is a real astrological reading or prediction.

Third parties involved

To generate your story and portrait, data derived from your birth details is sent to:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — generates the story text
• Replicate, running the Flux image model — generates the portrait image

These providers process this data solely to fulfill your request and are bound by their own privacy and data-handling policies.

How long we keep it

We store your story, portrait, and birth details indefinitely, so that anyone with your shared link can still view the story later. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us using the email below and we'll remove it.

Entertainment disclaimer

Past Life is built for fun. Nothing on this site is a real prediction, a professional astrological reading, or a factual claim about a past life. Please don't make decisions based on anything generated here.
